CONCHO VALLEY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE is committed to the education of our members and their children—our leaders of tomorrow. That’s why the co-op offers scholarships to high school seniors and postsecondary students.
CVEC will this year award four $2,000 scholarships.
GUIDELINES
Applicants must be a CVEC member or a dependent of a member whose primary residence is served by the cooperative.
An independent committee will select the most deserving recipients based on grades, leadership ability, community involvement, school activities and essay submission.
Scholarships may be applied to a four-year university, junior college or Texas Education Agency-approved trade school.
RECIPIENTS
Recipients must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and enroll for a minimum of 12 hours to be considered a full-time student. Half of the scholarship will be awarded at the beginning of the fall semester, and the remainder will be awarded at the beginning of the spring semester.
