Annual Meeting
When you signed up as a consumer of Concho Valley Electric Cooperative, you automatically became a member and part owner of the utility. That’s how cooperatives work: Every consumer-member has a say in how the utility operates.
To make your voice heard, attend your cooperative’s annual meeting this year. You’ll hear reports from co-op officials on how the business is doing. You’ll also help elect the co-op’s board of directors. Only consumer-members are eligible to hold seats on the board of directors, so local people—not faraway stockholders—are running things at your community’s utility.
The 85th Annual Membership Meeting will be held Thursday, July 17th.
Save the date and become an important part of the utility that you and your neighbors own.
The July issue of Texas Co-op Power will have a member registration card and director election ballot from the cover of the magazine to bring to the meeting. The July issue will also contain financial reports and a management report from the CVEC Executive Vice President and CEO, Kelly Lankford.
Below is the report from the 2024 annual membership meeting.
