Trucks & Treats

Concho Valley Electric Cooperative gives back to the communities it serves. One of the ways CVEC does this is by hosting the annual Halloween event, Trucks & Treats. This community event puts a spin on the traditional trunk-or-treat experience in which children can explore an array of specialized vehicles, including those used for public emergency, utility, transportation and construction services. Food trucks are also in attendance.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the inaugural year of Trucks & Treats was a drive-thru event at the CVEC office. However, in 2021, the event became an interactive touch-a-truck gathering held at the San Angelo Stadium. To create an engaging experience, the vehicles' doors were left open to allow participants to interact with the trucks and machinery.

Many community partners joined CVEC in this festive event, allowing children to explore vehicles of all varieties.

The 2025 Trucks & Treats event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25th, from 5:00-7:30 p.m.
